July Art Journaling Week 4 {COURAGE}

Our word prompt for this month is courage and Chris's challenge takes on a personal note. My "personal note" is all about my everyday courage. I'm doing things that Chuck always did, figuring things out (that he always took care of) sometimes I have to watch a YouTube video, but I'm figuring things out. Yes, I was very spoiled and when he died, so many things hit me in the face. I wanted to put my head in the sand and stay there, but I couldn't. This page is mostly about my daily challenges - like some days, it takes courage just to get out of bed. It also takes courage to GO to bed, because it's so hard for me to sleep. I don't have enough room to write all of the things that it take courage to do on a daily basis.

I used You Go Girl, an Oscraps Collab for my page.

This is beautiful! :heartpumppink: I can only imagine how much bravery is needed in the daily life tasks. The things we dont talk about, like going to bed alone. I love how you put it all on the page and the words are so wonderful. One day. One task. One tear. One step. One sleep. One day at a time. I love the bottom right quote, rebuilding stronger. It is very you. :heartpumppink:

Thanks for your perfect, wonderful words, Tracy. I wanted to add (and there wasn't room) sometimes it takes courage for me to leave my house. I just want to "hole up". I really gave this a lot of thought and worked on it for a couple of days. I'm so glad my "vision" came through. Yes, I had to add that final line! :heartpumpred::heartpumpred::heartpumpred:

Beautiful page with heartfelt journaling and so true. One of my favorite songs is "Hero" by Mariah Carey where she sings about how "The hero lies in you". Do you know it? It's true, so much of ordinary life takes being a hero - and we are. Often just living life... It's not the famous people. :beatingheart:

Oh, I know that song, Marilyn and I love it! Thanks for bringing hat up - that might become "my anthem".

This is beautiful Cheryl. Looking at this, steeping in every word and clause, pausing, the essence of courage just shines through all the images, words and art on your page. The courage of you! Beatifully done, Beautiful YOU!
