Grand Canyon Memories

I was inspired to create this page after hearing about the fire at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Lots of memories beyond just the Grand Canyon & lodge in this old photo which I took with my very first digital camera. The photo quality is not great but it is a priceless photo.

process: Clipped photos to frames & papers from a FotoInspired Template. Photos were enhanced with several adjustment layers. Placed an artsy paper as background & added a transfer to tone it down. Used word art for title. Embellished with wordart transfer, template fastener & threadz and flag notion.

That's the special thing about memories, we don't need perfect photos to keep them alive. The torn frames and bits of tattered paper are perfect embellishments considering your inspiration. Great photos displayed on a lovely layout.

Fabulous page of memories, and times together! It's nice to see you using the older photos to tell your stories. I've made about 3 pages this summer, and wish I had more pictures. So, I write the stories anyway, without pictures.

Thank you so much. These photos were so poor I didn't include them in the paper scrapbook I created back in 2004. Thankful I didn't delete them & I now have Photoshop to enhance them.
