I love the grunge and the blending, but mostly I love the story of how young those soldiers were (and still are) and how brave they are.

Oh my, Jean, they were SO young. I can't get over it - they asked these kids to go in and do these things - unthinkable. My uncle was 19 when he went into the Air Force and was put in the job of bombardier on a fighter jet and the plane was shot down over Germany. I just can't wrap my head around these 19 year olds being put in these unthinkable situations. Thank you for sharing this story and your beautiful layout with us.
