Time came to remove the huge plant that was over taking the sidewalk by the front door. It had blooms that finally reached 15' tall. I hired a yard man to remove it. He cut the tall branches/leaves then put a chain around it and tried 5 times to pull it out with his truck. No luck... Finally he dug a trench around it and cut off as much of the roots as he could and put a root killer on it. Then buried it with dirt, placed black plastic over it and covered it with rock.

I love the open look to the sidewalk and porch entrance now.
