Playing with ArtPlay Collection Halcyon, some older brushes & stitching as well as the new Flowers Notions.

process: Began by clipping photo to fotoblendz & recolouring layers. Clipped photo to frame mask & created cluster of twigs, flower notions, elements & thread to embellish. Added flower brush & recoloured using solid paper adjustment layer & brushes to recolour. Wordart for title. Splatters & edge overlay were recoloured white to add background interest. White butterfly stitching was added for framing & interest. Lots of playing & moving of layers to get the look I wanted.

Love this composition with the water-colorish background (love that pink flower brush) and all the elements. The loops add to the focal image (ah, I didn't know there was a Butterflies Value Pack!).

Perfectly lovely, Kim! The delicate blended flower, and watercolor flower all look like a painting. The smaller framed photo and birdhouse add a fun ambiance to the layout, and it is very calm and peaceful. I'd love to sit there and enjoy that view.

Thank you very much! The photo was taken after a evening rain storm and I remember the feeling of calm in the air as the sun came out and set all at once. It's a wonderful view from the front of my house.
