Continuing with my garden journal featuring Flowers Garden Notions 1 and FotoInspired Templates.
iPhone Photos app making these pages super easy - searched for "jade plant" and got photos from 2018 to now. Started with a selection of photos, then looked for good matches within FotoInspired Templates. Mixed the latest, 3J, with 3B to add in some circles and alternate frames.
Used plenty of Papers, Tags and Labels from the template pages to give me room to write.
Then I go back to my previous garden journal pages and reuse whatever seems relevant - papers & Artsy Kardz from ArtPlay Jardinier, Garden Notions. I added some Custom Shape arrows to connect text with photos, recolored element (eg mushroom), and created a Custom Title from word art and text.

Diane, you must have a plant nursery by now! The circle frame is so good as it gives a feel of a magnifying glass and close view of the plant, drawing the viewer into the page. Your journal pages will be just magnificent when you've printed into a photo book. Another really special and wonderful layout!

Thanks so much, Bev. I really have too many plants. When the weather change, I'll have to give some away, as I don't have enough room indoors for all that need to come in from outdoors ;-) Good point on the circle frame -not intended that way, but yes, it works! Just yesterday I pulled all the garden journal pages from the main yearly book and set them in a new book, and it is very exciting to see how it's coming along!

I think of the grandkids when I scrapbook these days, hoping they'll read these some day and be interested. I never met a bad person who liked plants ;-) Thank you!!
