Thank you for the inspiration everyone. It's been a minute since I made an AJ page. This layout went a totally different direction from where it started. But it's still about me taking care of my mom in her last days. Thanks for looking.
Wonderful page - I love the colors and the artsy look and all the wordstrips and the two images... layouts rarely end up looking the way we thought they would... and I guess it's ok. yours turned out great!
Amy this is a wonderful AJ page. I love how it turned out. I love the contradiction and how you showed it with the two faces. One clean and calm and the other with the thread and crazy going on. The way you used word strips to express all the feels. I love this! I can feel the peace and the chaos of what those last days must have been like.

Amy, I "got" it right away - the resolve and the conflict. "Simulataneous truths" someone I know called it. You scrapped this with such feeling it's almost visceral to me and I love the pieces you used and how you put it together.
Wow, Amy, this says it all... and so perfectly. The page might not be what you planned, but it turned out to be what it was supposed to be. I love the faces the word strips the whole design. Congratulations on being chosen for Gallery Standouts, too! Well deserved!
