I created a background for my photo with transfers then made a composite of all these layers with the photo and shrunk it. I merged the letters and made square above them on a different layer, filled with blue, I clipped this to letters and used blending mode Multiply. I made a copy of the background paper and shrunk it, I used a pale blue paper under this as a large mount. I added some staples and the tiny sun and I was done.

I envy the Marleen's of the world also. Those kinds of pages are so difficult to do, but it's a goal of mine to get there. However, your layout is a real delight. I love the tape addition, which I didn't see right away. I love the colors and the light and airy feel of this with your cute black and white photo.

Beautiful page! I love how you made a blue border by shrinking the paper above it. The blue transfers and acrylic letters are great.

First of all,love the photo...such a treasure... I like the acrylic letters,the dreamy background and the wonderful strokes that allow the eye to wander!

you've done white space quite well! your double framing draws the eye to that darling photo of you. perfect accents too.

Dear Tansy you make me shy, I mean it! Your page is awesome, the b/w color of the picture looks great with the blue tones, If you you will a white space page, just let the background in one color, it's just a tip, but your page is awesome!
