My Fantasy is to have lived during the Arabian Golden Age (800 CE - 1500 CE) and maybe even be a princess, Although their women folk were unlikely to have actually been called Princesses.
This was the era where Greek and Latin books and scrolls were saved and translated first into Arabic and later into other languages. This is a major reason why the modern world knows as much as it does about the Ancient World. Because the Arabian world translated the old works and built on and increased the ancient knowledge for the modern world to learn from.
