Journaling:
Marmots normally scramble off as the Jeep gets a predictable distance away, but not this pair. One was older and the other was immature. The white markings between the eyes were missing on the young one, and the coat was mostly gray. There was a profusion of berries & grasses nearby.

wonderful woodsy nature of this page... those pesky marmots can be quite persistent too... I lost my whole lunch at Chasm Lake... they took my pack, grabbed the food then departed... with contented tummy

You really do brilliant work with templates. And of course I love the marmot story. One day I hope to see the Actual Animals, as the closest I've come to a marmot is in the hiking jacket section of LLBean. Isn't it wonderful, observing animals in their habitat? Especially when they behave in unexpected ways....

Love the collage of photos and "nature" vibe! You get to see so many wonderful animals. I have lots woodchucks at home, but they're destructive, eating the garden and burrowing holes in the ground! Gorgeous page!
