There was a bit of serendipity involved in the creation of this page. My grandson mentioned he was doing an assignment on convicts and how boring it was. So happens I had this very ordinary photo taken on the site of an old penal settlement in Tassie some years ago. I quickly did this page to show him how interesting history can be if we search out the stories.
