Karon was looking forward to this concert because it featured “Concierto de Aranjuez”, a piece she loves by Rodrigo. On Wednesday, I got an email that the original artist was very sick (oh, no, I’ll have to disappoint my sister!) BUT Mak Grgic had been contacted and agreed to perform. Luckily he had just recorded the piece so was comfortable stepping in at the last minute (whew!!). The concert was MAGICAL!
Mr. Grgic wrote on Facebook: “What a whirlwind it turned out to be: from a heartfelt outreach performance for local kids to a packed concert with two encores—and even some audience participation during the final one! This was easily the most fun I’ve ever had on such short notice.”
FUN WITH COLOR: One of the things I love to do is take any paper or embellishment and change the color - it's so much fun to do in PSE. The color of every patterned paper and the word strip has been changed to fit the color of my solid papers. Orange is my favorite color.
