Wow I'm in shock! I thought this was the most common bird in the world. Had to google - apparently it's only Eurasian. I'm learning something new every day at Oscraps. Magpies are so beautiful - the black parts shimmer in a fantastic marine blue. Not a very popular bird though - rumoured to steal everything that is shiny, and many people really hate them. I think they are magnificent.
