journaling: What a difference 20 years makes. I didnt used to be a fraidy cat. I used to be kind of a daredevil. I rode the Magnum XL-200 when it first opened in 1989. At the time, it was the tallest coaster in the world at 205 ft. That day it was so foggy that you couldnt see the top of the coaster from the ground below. And I loved it. Fast forward 20 years, there are 2 coasters at Cedar Point that are taller. Im scared. And I dont have the stomach for any of them now. This was Clarissas first trip to Cedar Point, and she rode in the back car with Lizzie (if you look closely, you can see them in the pictures). She said it felt like I was free falling, but it was a lot of fun.
She cant wait to go back. Im not so excited about the idea.
