Have you forgotten that magic timejust a squinch before its time to go to bed? You usually got something sweet to eat, a story and lots of hugs and kisses from your parents and thoughts of what you planned to dream. There were giggles and the ever-present phrase you tried, Can I stay up just a little bit longer? Or, Oops, I forgot my water! Anything to prolong the little time of magic and love just a little longer, but the last kiss goodnight, the sweet tuck into your bedwell, it made it all worthwhile, and afterall, you were tired. I still love that time. Isnt that silly? It must be all the happy memories I carry around inside.
