Maybe golden sunshine on the Jeep was the story for Thursday's trip to the refuge. a big flock of birds flew up in front of us. Then right after the sun rose, it climbed into a cloud and the lighting was more like that of a rainy day. And still, there was no place we'd rather be at sunrise.

This is my story using Beach Days. There's no beach for many miles, but the sun is coming up over the Great Sand Dunes National Park, so maybe that's why this collection actually worked for me. I didn't use my photo of the birds flying up because it wouldn't have been as artsy.

Wow, this is great! I love the way the sunrise is reflected in the Jeep door. Love the purple and orange together.

Congrats on your Standing O! As far as I'm concerned, ALL of your spreads are Standing O's! Love your blending, the way you have the paint around the jeep and how you've added the birds to the framed inset photo!
