Journaling reads: I guess we werent too surprised, in fact we were somewhat happy when we found out Cricket had Hypothyroidism. We had been thinking it she was just slowing down because she was getting older.
How thrilled we were when we saw her energy level picking up within a few weeks. She even lost a few pounds. We also found that her dry, flaky skin disappeared, and her fur was growing in - silky & shiny.
Although she always jumped at the chance to take a walk, she how has the energy to take longer walked up Twin Peaks to hunt her little bunnies and squirrels (which she never catches), and when in the park, she rolls with enthusiasm in the grass, waiting for us to rub her belly - not quite as if she were a puppy again, but we are so very thankful that she has more energy, and we can tell she feels so much better. How very lucky we all are - Lucky Dog Lucky us!!!

The Process: The thing I love most about The Artsy Layered templates is that they are the perfect starting point. Each layer of the template is labeled as a guide, and although I dont always use them as labeled, for this particular layout, I decided to use the fotomasks for photos as I had 4 that I wanted to include. I placed the photos first, added a background paper next, and then began playing around with the other layers of the template by either changing their color or by clipping paper to it. I then played around with blend modes and opacities until I was satisfied with the look. A few of the layers were moved a bit to best work with the photos. The last thing I did was add various elements such as buttons, word strips, WordArt, brads, title and journaling, etc. I added the ScriptTease brushes, changing their color in some locations, but I also used them to mask portions of the photomasks out, for added interest. I finished up with the fotoglow and the loopdaloop.
