Sophia indulged me Easter Sunday by posing for me in my endeavor to learn my DSLR better. We decided on using the stacked wood in the orchard as a prop and got to work. I post so many pages with Autumn in them, I wanted photos of Sophia to create a layout. This is the result.

Process Notes: Solid paper 5 as my foundation, I placed the fotoblendz and clipped the photo to it and duplicated it once, putting it on Soft Light blend mode with 23% opacity. Bringing in the second photo, resizing and turning down the opacity while finding the best place to put it, I used a reverse layer mask after turning the opacity of the photo back up to 100%. Then using AnnaBlendz brushes, I brought the photo back in using different opacities for the brushes.
Using the lovely overlay 3 from the palette just above the background paper in the layers panel and blending it to Linear Burn, I started to bring in the artsy transfers as well as transfers from the palette over it and below the photo layers as well as between the photos. There are also stains mingled in with the wood pile. Parts of the artsy transfers are in the upper right corner along with a transfer from the palette and tucked next to Sophia sitting on the wood. On the textured transfer I used Brightness/Contrast to blend it better into the background.
More stains were added and blended using colors from the palette within the wood pile as well as a transfer on the left side of the large piece of wood in the main photo. the black and white splatters were given a bevel and emboss and drop shadow.
The scribble overlay was placed between the photo layers along with an art stroke from a artsy transfer. Using one of the Tres Bon 1 brushes and a color from her dress I stamped below the secondary photo in the layers panel. Its peaking out of the right side of the photo.
Bringing in the word art and typing out her name, using a bevel and emboss with a drop shadow. Dating the page and using Blend Ifs on it, finished the page.
