My grandmother lived in Canada my entire life, so I hardly knew her, but when she became sick a few years ago I began to write letters to her. Last year she passed away. Not only do I have those cherished letters from her, but she mailed pictures of me from my childhood I had never seen before. I have almost no pictures from my youth, so these photos are precious. This is a photo of me and my oldest sister. I am so grateful to have it.
Journaling Reads: The oldest daughter and the youngest daughter. we had NO pictures together until Nanny sent this photo to me. What a treasured keepsake!
