Locally Grown

Journaling: With cherry harvest in full swing and Autumn working as Bucket Girl in one of the cherry orchards her Dad manages, she borrowed her Dads phone and took this photo. Her Dad posted it to his Instagram account and his followers gushed, very much surprised of such a wonderful photo he shot. He has many talents but photography isnt one of them, his photos are awful, plain and simple and his Instagram feed proves it. Autumn was miffed he didnt give her credit for the shot, so she posted it to her feed also to clear the matter up. So there.

Process Notes: This is a pretty straight forward and easy process using the template. Using every mask, I duplicated the photo for each mask and clipped the photo copies to the masks. For the background I used two papers from the palette and with the gradient tool, I blended them together. Every mask was then blended to Color Burn.

A couple of the photo layers were duplicated and the Poster Edges filter was used on them. Two other photo layers had a black and white adjustment layer added. And the two smaller photo/mask layers had transfers clipped to them and the transfers blended.

Adding more transfers from the palette as well as tapes, splatters, paper textures and the multimedia cherries, using adjustment layers on the tapes and blending the rest.

With the title I added a Bevel and Emboss and with the journaling I used a clipped layer to color parts of it white to make it more readable with an AnnaBlendz brush. Underneath the title I added a glow and blended to make it pop more on the page. The layers I didnt use from the template were the stitched frame and white photo frames as well as a journaling box. That finished this page.
good for her! What a great shot she took --- this is the part of summer I like the most ... enjoying all the wonderful fruits and vegetables our earth has to provide --- the beans are ready for snapping and picking ... we are off to a good start. beautiful capture
