Among the many, many things I love about being married to Ken, one is the fact that he really appreciates the simple things in life. This year we celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary, and werent able to do much in the way of celebrating. We did have some much needed time without the kids and on our way home from dropping them off, we stopped at this spot for an impromptu sunset picnic. It was so nice. The view, the conversation and time relaxing were medicinal. My heart and mind are filled with memories of similar moments we've shared, they are some of what I treasure most.
