For CopyCat Challenge #6

Journaling: As the 1999 Holiday Season approached I was terrified. I had been diagnosed with breast cancer and would have a bi-lateral mastectomy. Surgery was scheduled after my mother's arrival in
mid-December. I did not tell her until she was with me. She said, "You'll be fine." That was that. In this photo with my brother and mother on Christmas day there are lots of bandages, pads and drain tubes under my sweater. And I was fine.
