I changed my photo to B & W and used the multiply blend to erase the background. I used dodge on the eye to keep the brown. I added a shadow to the word art with an outer glow
I used a slight bevel on the frame and then ran a delete brush along the edge of the photo to soften it. I also added a transfer to the upper left.
