about Klarka:
My name is Klrka and I was born on June 18 th 2006.
I seemed to be a perfectly healthy baby with no problems. Shortly before my second birthday I was diagnosed with hopefully second degree of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
Unfortunatelly, my illness is progressive. At the present time we managed to slow down the progress and I dont get any weaker. My parents try not to look into the future as there is nothing to look forward to. Beside the decrease in the mass of the muscles there is a big danger of weakening of swallowing muscles and muscles that control breathing.
