Journaling reads: With Grandma working at the San Diego Safari Park, Cora has been lucky enough to grow up spending a great deal of time with the various animals at both the San Diego Zoo, and San Diego Safari Park. How much fun she has had exploring all the sights and sounds of the various animal exhibits, as well as the many play areas built just for a young child to learn and grow. The kids favorites activities are the petting zoo, the animal shows, the play areas, and of course the various photo opportunities.

Process Notes: I began with one of the templates from Artsy Layered Template Duo No. 6. I rotated the template so that the 3 framed photos were on the bottom. I attached photos to the clipping masks of the photo strip. I then attached the large photo to a few of the large white paint layers of the template. Once the large photo was attached, I began modifying the remaining layers of the template, moving the location of some of the layers. I added the large title at the top of the large image, adding a white stroke and a custom shadow. I stapled the title in various areas. I added a page fotoblendz, changing its color to a muted blue/green, reducing its opacity. I added wordART, the hinges, various textures and stains from APP Time and Artsy Transfers Autumn Rust, as well as some urban threadz and urban stitches. I finished the page by adding a dark brown paper behind the background paper, and added the stitched border, changing its color to a dark brown.
