For my layout: I converted the photo black and white (made it a sketch). I selected one of the paper media papers and blend (multiply) the black solid paper (to make it darker). I added some artsy bits elements (flowers, brushes) and threads to the other side of the layout. I used brushes to blend the elements and photo.
