To get the mask I wanted I duplicated the brush in the kit and rotated them until it covered the space I needed and merged the two. Stamps to the background around the photo to create contrast. To add depth, elements of leaves and branches were placed around the ducks. To add additional depth snowflakes were applied with a very light shadow.
