Vicky challenged us with what do you do that is peaceful and relaxing? Rest doesn't always mean sitting down. For me, total peace (and relaxation) is creating in my kitchen. A new recipe, a new dessert, trusted family favorites. A new technique. I used Candy Please for most of the elements and put the background paper over top at 75%. I went a bit old school and used Polaroid Frames to frame the treats I was dreaming of making and Simply Black and White Stamps for the girl.
This is SO you, Tracy and I LOVE it!!! Sometimes "old school" is the best. LOVE the iage of the woman with the headset on. I can just see you in your kitchen creating the wonderful treats and meals for your family. I'll be over as soon as I can get there.

Tracy, this is just so cool! Love putting the pink paper over the top and love the pony-tail girl with head phones listening to music that you love (for me it is the 60's & 70's). I'm on still working on week 2 and having a little block on what to create, but I will get there!

Thank you Char. This was the first time I have ever put paper over the elements and it just ended up perfect. (can teach this old dog new tricks LOL). As for music, its depends on my mood, 80's if I dont want to hear anyone or anything and praise songs if Im needing uplifting. Cant wait to see your week two. It will come.

Thank you Vicky. Who would have thought changing the background paper to the forefront would be so amazing? I had no idea but love how it worked. I love the candy elements but they were too bold for the dreamy feel I was going for and the thought popped in my head, move the paper.
