The J Street Marina had not been built when I first moved to the San Diego area, but over time, industrial businesses have been replaced with a number of public and private marinas. I love going down to see the boats and smell the salt air.

The Process: This page was one of the quickest and easiest I have done in quite some time. I used one of Annas Artsy Papers from ArtPlay Palette Go See. I then attached the photo to the upper half, but blended it to allow the graphics from the paper to be seen. The photo was taken on a day when there was little color in the sky, so I took a paper from ArtPlay Palette Skys The Limit and blended in just the sky portion. Placing that paper above the photo layer, and using Blend Mode Soft Light allowed the photograph below to show through and gave the photograph a gorgeous sky. I added the edge overlay and the WortArt, changing their color to a blue, along with additional brushes from the Go See Palette. I added the brad and word strip over the bright red, along with the photo details and date. Quite simple!!!
