I used the template with few changes, removing one frame and shifting the journaling to parallel the edge of the little multi-media Altered Playing Card I had made some years ago. I fiddled with the Fotoblendz mask via a combination of masking, recoloring, and erasures, as shown in the Project class videos, to make it work as both a mat and a blending tool for my image.
To finish the page I recolored some stains, added a background and a little brushwork, more Urban Threadz, a Fotoglo, and then the buttons. Next came the overlay, which I recolored. The journaling pushed me over an hour (my goal time per page), but because I went with stream-of-consciousness writing, it was just an extra 15 minutes past the timer buzzing.
