it's more than just birds (color challenge 8.03-8.16)

Tuesdays is birding day with friends....on this day there were so FEW birds so I started taking pictures of the plants. (even the blackberries weren't cooperating....not ripe yet!) On the way out of the pond I noticed the mud area and loved the patterns/cracks so i took a picture of it. That photo became my background for this page.
