Notes for Photoshop Elements 14
This is the sixth spread in a new album documenting my daughter's recent trip to the Philippines. (As in the others, I have omitted the journaling, as it comes from my daugher's private text messages to me.) Since the right-hand part of the spread is all about why the resort accommodations are built on stilts (high tides in flood season), the tidal coastal brush was not only perfect thematically but, stamped in the brown of the previous page, added some grounding of color on the bottom of the page. I like to pack my spreads full and this kind of color coordination is important in preventing visual chaos. The rest of the spread is simpleI shifted areas of the templates around minimally just to fit my daugher's photos and recolored the stains, then used the same background paper that's on the other pages. The only addition here is buttons, for dimension.
