Journaling: Our son Steve was an inquisitive, imaginative, and creative child who often exercised his talents for climbing, mechanics, and getting into everything. I once commented to a friend that I had expected him to be a girl (my pregnancy with him had been the opposite of my pregnancy with his older brother). She responded, You could have had a girl like Steve. Steve always claimed that he would never have children because he didnt want anyone putting him through what he had put us through. Eventually, he changed his mind and has blessed us with two wonderful granddaughters. This is my favorite photo of the year because it shows two-year-old Juliet, who shares his talents and interests, helping him with an electrical project. Steve takes great pride in her accomplishments.
