My mother also enjoyed growing irises. I remember her having them in her garden when she moved into a retirement village as well as in my childhood home. Thank you for sharing in my ATC challenge. That is a great title on your lovely piece of artwork.

What a gorgeous photo and iris! I love irises too, there is an iris garden nearby with thousands of versions, I remember seeing a dark dusty purple one, but don't remember its name. How wonderful that your sister and husband carry on the iris tradition and you can share in it. I like how you journaled at the top and side, your card is so pretty!
