Process...
I started with a 4x6 ArtsyKard and stretched it to fit my 6x12 canvas. I chose this artsykard because it sort of looked like a building. The architexture brush was added over the AK, linking up the "corner" of the building with the left, black edge of the paint in the AK. Changed part of the brush to white to show up over the black. Blended the face using the right side of my new building as a pillow. Added the time progression and the minidots. Added the gold paint and the paper texture and, finally, played with the colors a bit by adding some yellow and blue glows.
