Process: I found a little color to photograph inside winter yesterday. I placed two of the photos, one photo looking into the conservatory along with another looking out of the conservatory on a blank canvas. I then dragged all of the layers from Annas new artsy template and turned off all the paint layers after using them as a rough guide for blending the background. I placed transfer_1 on the right, adding a hue/saturation layer and belended it into the photo background. I used transfer_4 on the left with the same method. In the lower left corner, I place overlay_2 to repeat the color in transfer_4. I also placed overlay_1 on the left. Above the photo and transfer layers I turned on the texture, splatter and stain layers, recoloring as needed. I clipped my photos to the masks and added elements from the ArtPlay Thrive. I placed two copies of the psd arrow files, to guide the eye in and out of the layout much like meandering the paths at the conservatory. I completed my journaling, applied a style to an outline of the word winter to give it the look of the metal frame of the conservatory.
