Journaling reads: "My 26th birthday was the saddest day of my life.
You were only 4 days old and had to be re-admitted into the hospital.
Your bilirubin was high so you were very jaundiced. For some reason
that we still don't understand, you just couldn't seem to shake it
and you had to be re-admitted into the hospital 3 times in the first
3 weeks of your life. I couldn't even hold you, I had to watch you
lie on a table under the warm lights. Amazingly, you were very
comfortable and didn't fuss much, as if God were holding you in
his hand."

There is a lot more to what happened than I journaled here. He also
had a blood transfusion and had his blood taken from his feet well
over 20 times. It was very hard for me and I know things could be
so much worse. I'm grateful that they weren't. If you would like to
