My journaling reads:
It was grey and overcast the day we flew the London Eye (thats what you do by the way, you dont ride it, you fly it) but even despite the drizzle and cloud, the view from the top was still pretty impressive. Buckingham Palace was clearly visible, along with The Gherkin, Nelsons Column, the Houses of Parliament and off in the distance I could just make out the arch from Wembley Stadium. There were a couple of big landmarks we didnt find though, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge amongst them. I dont know if its even possible to see them both from the London Eye, but if it is, then we missed them. Which means well just need to book another flight.

Thanks for looking!

great title and I can't work out, is this photo taken from inside or outside the "eye"? It looks like it's outside but then you'd be too high (never been on the London Eye but seeing this fabulous photo makes me want to give it a go).

Love the way you've used elements that look a bit "industrial" - very fitting. Have just checked my photos on the Eye - nope, no Tower, fortress or Bridge.
