My father left me in 1971, when I was a year old. I never heard from him again. I had been looking for my real dad actively since i was a young teen, and knew i had a half sister. i typed her name in facebook for the 2nf time one day, and got a hit! i wrote her, and it WAS her!! I have 2 step mothers, 3 sisters and nieces and nephews. I also finally got to see what my father looked like after years of wondering! Ill never forget the moment I opened the email with his picture!! I have been sent tons of photos and heard stories about him. He and i are VERY much alike in looks and personality, even hobbies. He has been dead since 2004, so I dident get to talk with him, but this has been wonderful. The weird thing was, the day I found the family would have been his birthday!!!! I guess hes making amends and getting the family together.
