The May Art Journaling challenge has been posted and our word prompt for May is FORTITUDE. On May 2nd, I had an unexpected experience that I just had to put on a page. I documented it with some photos, and used one of them as the background for my layout.
Journaling reads:
I don’t mind the quiet or the solitude. In fact, I rather like it. Yesterday was
difficult though. I walked out the door and the view hit melike a ton of bricks. All the memories came rushing at me and it was overwhelming. I had to dig deep for my continued fortitude that has gotten me thisfar. The view that Chuck loved somuch almost broke my heart again in it’s glory. He used to say we had “a million-dollar view” and indeed we do. The sky was a magnificent blue and it just took my breath away. May 2, 2025
