Hydrangea Blooms & A Baby Girl

I remember the first time I saw Hydrangeas. Jer brought me the huge pink blooms while in the hospital. I had just given birth to our second child, a daughter. He was so excited, just as he had been when we had our firstborn, a son.
My Doctor, (who by the way looked just like Omar Shariffseriously) exclaimed how surprised he was to see the flowers. He sat and related to me how these beautiful flowers grow wild in his native England. And He had not seen any in many years.
I remember a visitor remarking how perfect and unique these flowers were to celebrate the arrival of a baby girl.

Every time I see these magnificent blooms, I am taken back to a wondrous time in my life. I am enamored each time.
