A view of the mighty Mississippi River near my home town. I always love the feeling that comes over me when I'm standing next the fast moving, churning, Mississippi. Watching a lazy barge go down stream makes a carefree summer day perfect. There were no barges on this day, just the bridge spanning the river between Illinois and Iowa.
First the FIT 2_3 psd file was placed on a new canvas. My photos were processed in Topaz with additional presets applied in LR prior to placement, and clipping to two masks. The template masks and frames were manipulated to fit the photos and design, several were turned off. The transfer and overlay were placed and clipped to the mask (recolored to white). The mask beneath the text was resized and recolored. Text and beaded threadz were added. A composite of these layers was made, and the Torn Edge frame psd file was placed on the page, clipping the composite to the frame mask, and all resized. The bow and leaves were added, and the background paper.
