For my layout:
I extract the photo and created a shadow. I placed the magic lights and artsy bits no1 behind the photo to give more dimension. I used a paper media paper with some copper red and another artsy bits on the top to make it festive and a photo overlay changing the color and mode to soft light. I used the watercolor blender brushes in different portions of the photo and wordart.
