I lived with this amazing woman for three years in the early 1960"s when I was a student in Mexico City.

Journaling (hiding above the photo mat): Born in a small Mexican pueblo. Her education stopped at the fifth grade. Married young and had two daughters. Abandoned by her husband in Mexico City. Worked hard to give her daughters and an education -- one became a chemist, the other a doctor.
