Journaling reads: I am often asked about how it is to have twins. People assume (and mostly rightly so) that is was unbearably difficult. We had our most difficult days during your first six months of life. In that short time, you fought to live as we rode the NICU roller coaster and I adjusted to life as a short-term single parent as yourdaddy moved to Ft. Campbell anddeployed to Iraq. There were constant feedings and diaper changes. Some days I felt as if I was swimming inpools o, those first sixmonths were hard, but afterthat time, having twins hasbeen such a joy! The two of you have an amazing bond and you make it all seem so easy. Having twins is like the biggest blessing God could give.
