The Gullah people live in coastal SC, NC, & Ga. They came from Cameroon and the Congo. As descendants of freed slaves, they have retained their language, culture and superstitions.
Looks like an interesting place to visit. I'd never heard of the Gullah people before now. Good to learn something new.
