This is my future son in law's mother; sadly she is no longer with us but he has the most amazing photograph albums and some are dedicated to wonderful photographs of her horses and dogs.
I had a faff with this https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=348766&title=faff&cat=all if you don't know what faff means; probably because everytime I have a break from scrapping I lose the whole creative vibe!
Anyway... lets keep it simple, and hope that I remember what I did to get this page finished. I duplicated the photograph twice times and masked both. The main photograph I revealed with a selection of AnnaBlendz Artsy brushes with varying levels of opacity, the second I only revealed the parts of the horse's face and legs that I wanted a bit more definition. After doing this I duplicated the first photograph again and selected linear light at 18% to give a bit more of a pop. Background paper is a plainish paper from AP Old world and on top of this is a selection of layers from Artsy Transfers Pierian and AP Old world. Also layered on top is an artsy paper from AP Quaintville positioned at the top of the page and on Color Burn mode. Iit's really just a case of moving everything about the page to get the composition you are happy with. I increased the figure at one point but the composition was not working in relation to the wordart, so those layers were reduced in size again. I also added in a Fotoblendz overlay on multiply just to add some depth. Lastly I added some paper textures, mini dots and wordart, the wooden word art is set to soft light and duplicated
