Process
An artsy paper from APP Happy Life was used as the foundation. The photo was clipped to the frame mask. A new layer was created above the photo and the dress was painted over with the blending mode changed to color. This gave the dress a pink tinge. Transfers and art strokes from the kit were layered behind to the photo. Some modifications were made to the cherries (the leaf was reduced in size and one of the cherries was hidden). Word art, stitches, brads and more splatters were added to complete the page.

Oh my gosh! There is so much I love about this...you with your grandmother, both dressed elegantly, and that you remember your dress so well. But, the Cinderella watch is the best...I too have one. Love your page and your memories.

I adore this design. I always love color with black and white photos, and I love this photo. Such a meaningful page. And yes, I wish we still showed respect for important occasions by dressing up.

Not sure what I love the mostyour fabulous art or the story behind the picture. What a special gift that Cinderella watch must have been. A family treasure for sure.
