Patrick McGoohan died on the 13th. Really bummed about this.
The Prisoner is still one of my top 3 favourite TV shows, and Portmeirion, Wales (where it was filmed)
is still one of the most odd little places I've ever been to.

It has something of a special place in my mind's eye because of that --
AND because of how it was built. Sir Clough WiIlliams-Ellis designed and
constructed the village between 1925 and 1975. He incorporated fragments of
demolished buildings, including works by a number of other architects.
The entire thing was cobbled together from pre-existing salvage from buildings.
Something like what I do with my artwork. Now you get it.
