I wanted to do something different with the ArtsyLayered Template 210 which is on special this week.
I really enjoy working with the templates and decided to have some fun with it.

I started with a blank 12 x 12 page and copied the layers of the psd file to my page. I removed the background layer and replaced it with a solid paper from APP Autumn Rust and then added my image in a new layer above it that I had manipulated in an iPhone app.

I blended it in with some of the stain layers in the image. I added a mask to the photo and brushed away some of the top to reveal the layer stains and background paper.
I then selected all the layers of the photo frames and stretched them to be larger.

I moved them slightly closer to the centre of the image.
I then clipped the same photo to each grey stain of the frames - (layer create clipping mask)and moved them around till I got the part of the photo that I wanted to display.

Finally, I moved a couple of the layers from the template that were highlighting the text box over to the right hand side of the image I recoloured the top stain by selecting the fx option at the bottom of panel in Photoshop CC and did a colour overlay and picked a colour nearer to the flower colour.

I then added the text I wanted to complete the piece.
